Photo review is not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. An in-person orthodontic evaluation is required to determine eligibility.

How it works

  1. Take your photos following the instructions below.
  2. Submit them through our smile photo review form.
  3. An orthodontist reviews your photos under our photo review protocol.
  4. Our team contacts you about appropriate next steps.
  5. Eligibility is determined only after an in-person evaluation.

Tips for clear photos

  • Use bright, even lighting.
  • Keep the camera level.
  • Make sure each photo is clear and in focus.
  • Pull your cheeks away from your teeth where noted.
  • Ask another person to help if needed.
  • Do not include anyone else in the photos.

Your privacy

  • Dental photos can contain sensitive health information.
  • The consent on the form explains why your photos are reviewed, who can see them, how they are stored and for how long, and the limits of photo review.
  • Your photos will not be used for marketing without your separate written authorization.
  • Please include only photos of your own teeth, and no one else.
