Invisalign® treatment
Invisalign® clear aligners, explained simply.
Behl Touch Up offers orthodontist-led Invisalign® clear aligner treatment for qualifying limited cases. Here's who it's for, how eligibility is decided, what the initial package includes, and what costs extra.

How clear aligners work
Each aligner is shaped slightly differently from the last. Worn as directed, the series applies gentle, controlled pressure to guide teeth toward the positions your orthodontist has planned.
- Custom-made from a digital model of your teeth
- Removable for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing
- Changed on a schedule your orthodontist sets
Why an orthodontic diagnosis matters
Teeth that look slightly out of place can have causes that aren't visible in a mirror, such as bite issues, bone support or gum health. An orthodontist's evaluation identifies what is actually going on, so the treatment fits the problem rather than just the appearance.
Limited versus comprehensive treatment
Limited treatment addresses a specific, contained concern, such as mild crowding or a small gap. Comprehensive treatment addresses the whole bite and alignment and is usually more involved. They are not interchangeable: your orthodontist recommends the approach that fits your case. Behl Touch Up is limited treatment only.
Typical clinical indications
Limited treatment is often considered for adults, typically between about 25 and 55, with concerns such as:
- Mild crowding or overlapping teeth
- Small gaps or spacing
- Teeth that have shifted after earlier orthodontic treatment
Who may not qualify
Some situations call for a different approach or other care first, for example significant bite problems, larger rotations or crowding, cases that would need attachments or tooth reshaping between teeth (interproximal reduction), skeletal concerns, or untreated dental or gum conditions. Your orthodontist will tell you plainly if limited treatment isn't the right fit.
Attachments and tooth reshaping
Some aligner cases need small tooth-coloured bumps bonded to teeth (attachments) or slight reshaping between teeth (interproximal reduction, or IPR) to achieve certain movements. Under the current Behl Touch Up limited-treatment protocol, cases that would need attachments or IPR are not included. If your orthodontist finds that your case needs them, they will explain your other options, including comprehensive treatment.
The role of your orthodontist's evaluation
Eligibility is determined by an orthodontist following an in-person evaluation of your teeth, bite, gums, and goals. No condition qualifies automatically, and nothing proceeds until you've reviewed your plan.
What the package includes
For qualifying limited cases, the initial treatment package covers:
- Orthodontist evaluation and treatment planning
- Your initial approved Invisalign® clear aligner treatment
- Your initial set of aligners
- Remote progress monitoring directed by your orthodontist, under an approved clinical protocol
- One upper-and-lower retainer set, made after your orthodontist approves your final result
- One remake of that original retainer set if it doesn't fit properly
What the package excludes
The following are not part of the initial package:
- Additional refinements (see refinement fee below)
- Replacement of lost retainers (see replacement fee below)
- Comprehensive orthodontic treatment
- Treatment outside your approved limited-treatment scope
- Services not expressly included in your final treatment agreement
How treatment is monitored
Your treatment is directed by your orthodontist, who will explain how and when your progress will be reviewed and when an in-person visit is needed.
If something doesn't go as planned
Aligners sometimes fit less closely than expected, or teeth move more slowly than planned. If your progress review or your own observations raise a concern, your care team follows a documented escalation process, and your orthodontist decides the next step, which may include an additional office visit.
Refinements
When your initial aligners are finished, your orthodontist reviews your result with you. If you'd like further correction after your initial aligners, and your orthodontist approves it, one additional limited refinement cycle is available for a fixed fee. It covers a reassessment, updated records when clinically needed, one revised plan, one additional aligner sequence, and monitoring during that sequence. Further refinements are not automatically included. If additional treatment is needed because of a case-selection, treatment-planning or other error by the practice, your reassessment is at no charge and no fee applies to correcting that error.
Retention
Teeth tend to move after treatment, so retainers matter. One upper-and-lower retainer set is included. It is made only after your orthodontist approves your final result, from records that match your finished tooth positions, so it is not sent with your first aligners. One remake of that set is included if it doesn't fit properly. Replacement of lost retainers is a separate fixed fee per complete set.
Individual results vary
How your treatment progresses depends on your teeth, your treatment plan, and wearing your aligners as directed. Your orthodontist will discuss what to expect for your case.
When comprehensive care is recommended
If your orthodontist finds that your case needs more than a limited correction, you'll be offered comprehensive treatment at Behl Orthodontics, which is evaluated and priced separately. You'll review any recommendation before deciding.
