About Behl Touch Up

What is Behl Touch Up?

Behl Touch Up offers orthodontist-directed Invisalign® clear aligner treatment for qualifying adults with minor alignment concerns, such as mild crowding, small gaps or teeth that have shifted after braces. It is endorsed by Behl Orthodontics.

What's the difference between limited and comprehensive treatment?

Limited treatment corrects a specific, contained concern. Comprehensive treatment addresses your whole bite and alignment and is usually more involved. Your orthodontist recommends the approach that fits your case; Behl Touch Up provides limited treatment only.

Your package

What does the initial treatment package include?

For qualifying limited cases, the initial package includes your orthodontist's evaluation and treatment plan, your initial approved Invisalign® clear aligner treatment and first set of aligners, remote progress monitoring directed by your orthodontist, one upper-and-lower retainer set made after your final result is approved, and one remake of that set if it doesn't fit properly. Additional refinements, replacement of lost retainers, comprehensive orthodontic treatment and services outside the approved scope are not included.

Are retainers included?

Yes. One upper-and-lower retainer set is included. It's made after your orthodontist approves your final result, not with your first aligners, so it matches your finished smile. One remake is included if that set doesn't fit properly. Lost retainers can be replaced as a complete upper-and-lower set for a separate fixed fee.

Are refinements included?

No. Additional refinements are not part of the initial package. If you'd like further correction after your initial aligners and your orthodontist approves it, one additional limited refinement cycle is available for a fixed fee. If extra treatment is needed because of an error by the practice, your reassessment is at no charge and no fee applies to correcting that error.

What if I need comprehensive treatment?

The initial package is for qualifying limited cases only. If your orthodontist recommends comprehensive orthodontic treatment, it is provided through Behl Orthodontics, evaluated separately and priced separately. You'll review any recommendation before deciding.

What happens if I need additional aligners?

When your initial aligners are finished, your orthodontist reviews your result. If an additional limited refinement is clinically appropriate and you choose to proceed, it is available for a fixed fee after you've reviewed and agreed to it. If the need results from an error by the practice, there is no charge for correcting it.

When are my retainers made?

After your orthodontist approves your final result. Your retainer set is made from records that match your finished tooth positions, so it is never sent with your first aligners.

What if I lose a retainer?

Replacement retainers are provided as a complete upper-and-lower set for a separate fixed fee. Single upper or lower replacements aren't offered.

What happens if my treatment needs change?

Your orthodontist will explain any change and whether it falls within your approved treatment scope. Anything outside that scope requires a separate clinical evaluation and separate pricing, which you'll review before anything proceeds.

Pricing & payment

Can I finance treatment?

We don't offer in-house financing. Payment options are reviewed with you after your orthodontic evaluation, and payment is collected after your orthodontist approves treatment and before your aligners are ordered.

Is dental insurance accepted?

Insurance questions are reviewed individually at your consultation. We aren't able to confirm insurance acceptance or coverage on this website.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

Whether HSA or FSA funds can be used depends on your plan. Please check with your plan administrator; we aren't able to confirm eligibility on this website.

Candidacy

Who qualifies?

The package is designed for adults with limited orthodontic concerns, such as mild crowding, small gaps, or teeth that have shifted after earlier treatment. Eligibility is determined by an orthodontist following an in-person evaluation of your teeth, bite, and oral health.

What if clear aligners aren't right for me?

Some situations are better addressed with a different approach. If that's the case, your orthodontist will explain why and discuss other options. Our goal is always an honest recommendation.

What kinds of crowding or spacing qualify?

Limited treatment is generally considered for mild crowding or overlapping, small gaps, and minor shifting after earlier orthodontic treatment. Cases needing attachments, tooth reshaping between teeth, or correction of the overall bite are outside the current limited-treatment scope. Your orthodontist makes the final decision after evaluating you in person.

Prior treatment

I had braces before and my teeth have moved. Can this help?

Teeth naturally tend to shift over time, especially if retainers weren't worn consistently. Many adults in this situation explore clear aligners. Your free consultation will determine whether aligner treatment is suitable for your specific case.

Should I bring my old retainer or records?

If you have a previous retainer or know who provided your earlier treatment, it can be helpful to mention at your consultation. Please don't send records or photos through this website.

Consultation

What is included in the free consultation?

Your free consultation includes an in-person evaluation by an orthodontist to determine whether Invisalign® clear aligners may be appropriate for you, and a review of your options and next steps. The specific services included will be confirmed with you before your visit.

Am I committing to treatment by booking a consultation?

No. The consultation is an evaluation. You'll review any recommended plan and your package before deciding whether to move forward.

Clinical oversight

Who provides my clinical care?

Your consultation includes an evaluation by an orthodontist, and treatment is directed by an orthodontist.

How long does treatment take?

Your orthodontist estimates your treatment timeline after your in-person evaluation. Treatment time varies from person to person and depends on wearing your aligners as directed.

How many office visits will I need?

Your care begins with an in-person evaluation. Your orthodontist will explain which in-office appointments your treatment needs.

Will someone monitor my progress?

Your orthodontist will explain how your progress will be reviewed during treatment.

What happens if my treatment isn't progressing as expected?

Raise any concern with your care team. Your orthodontist reviews your progress, decides the next step and may ask you to come in for an office visit. If treatment needs to change, you'll review any change, and any cost, before anything proceeds.
